Does Distance Goal use GPS?
No, V1 does not use GPS or maps. Distance Goal is a manual tracker: you type in the distance you have covered, and the app keeps a running total against your goal.
Does Distance Goal connect to Google Fit or Health Connect?
No, V1 does not connect to Google Fit, Health Connect, Apple Health, Fitbit, Strava, or similar platforms. All entries are added manually by you.
Where is my data stored?
Your goal and entry data is stored locally on your device. Distance Goal has no backend, and Bluetorch Consulting Ltd does not receive or hold a copy of your data.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete individual entries or goals within the app. To remove everything, you can clear the app's data from your device settings (Settings → Apps → Distance Goal → Storage → Clear data) or uninstall the app. Because your data is stored only on your device, deleting it there removes it completely.
Can I use cycling and walking in the same goal?
Yes, you can manually log different activity types — walking, cycling, running, or other — against the same distance goal. They all count towards the same total.
